Patience and Education Brings Success to Life

Life is generally changeable, very complex and difficult. Problems always come with people but what people should do is be patient and struggle to solve it even it is a very big problem. As a proverb said “Life is struggle”.

Mr. Ith Manay, 46, a famous professor in the University of Agriculture who is very successful in life with his education.

Ith Manay was born in 1966 in a poor family at Kandal province. Being the only son in his family, he always saw the way his parent feed the chicken and pig so it became his favorite habit. However, during the Pol Pot regime, his parent was killed and he became an orphan like many teenagers.

In 1987, he finished high school at Pras Sisowat high school. Then, he got a scholarship to Vietnam in major Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. After he graduated bachelor and master degree in Vietnam he came back Phnom Penh in 1994. Since 2004 till 2006 he also graduated master degree of Rural Agricultural Economic Development Skill in Royal University of Agriculture and received the admiring letter from the Cambodia Prime Minister Hun Sen. In the same year he also graduated Medical Animal and Science from Royal Academy. He is continuously pursuing his Doctor Degree up to now.

Now he works as a professor of Medical Animal in University of Agriculture and also the chef of Department of Medical Animal. During 1994 till 2000 he had worked as a veterinarian which from money only 20$ that he borrowed from his god brother.          

In 2002, he wrote and published a book named How to cure pig sickness in easy way. Two thousand nine hundred books was sold and then it pushed him to wrote next book named How to feed chicken in agricultural science form and was sold three thousand and eight hundred books. In 2004, his book about The Method to feed and care dogs was sold and interview Bayon Channel. During 2007 he was joined about a lot of Bayon Channel agricultural and animal programs. All of his book and interview has provided a lot of knowledge and experiment. Then he has tried to teach his entire student and shared all his experiment. 

In 2012, he has found and created a medicine which is the prosthetics Sperm of pig. He shared his experiment to all his students and many farmers in some province in Cambodia such as Kompong Cham, Kompong Thom, Battambong and Kompot. He also plans to publish the book of his new experiment of Prosthetics Sperm in next year.

Mr. Ith Manay has a wife and 3 children, a son and two daughters. He said “he wanted his son become a famous professor as him and help and poor farmer to develop their skill to help their family one day”. And moreover, he believes that life without struggle would not bring a true success. His experiment and idea is very benefit and helpful to many students and people.
